Dr. Sameera Pirbhai, Dentist
Dr. Sameera Pirbhai grew up in Ancaster, Ontario and graduated from London’s Schulich School of Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario in 2006.
She then went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Philadelphia. Subsequently, Dr. Pirbhai has mainly worked in the Toronto area, while continually updating and enhancing her skills.
Dr Pirbhai enjoys all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry (including Invisalign). She particularly loves performing root canal therapy, and oral surgery (implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal). She also loves to treat children and hopes to provide a positive experience for all of her patients.
She is sympathetic to dental anxieties and strives to help patients overcome negative dental experiences they may have had in the past.
Dr. Pirbhai is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental association.
In her free time, Dr. Pirbhai takes piano lessons and loves trying all kinds of food with her amazing friends and family. She has two dogs that she absolutely adores!
She keeps active through yoga, pilates and running.
Dr Pirbhai is a certified yoga instructor and very active in Toronto's yoga community. She spends a lot of time upside down doing handstands and arm balances!
Dr. Alexandra Nadeau, Dentist
Dr. Nadeau grew up in Antigonish, Nova Scotia where she attended St. Francis Xavier University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.
She then went on to Dalhousie University in Halifax to complete her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After graduation, she practiced dentistry in Newfoundland before moving to Toronto.
Dr. Nadeau enjoys all aspects of family, general and cosmetic dentistry. She is very passionate about education and stays current on the latest techniques and helping to educate her patients to help them make the best decisions for their overall health.
She always provides a comfortable and caring environment and believes that even the most fearful patient can have a positive experience at the dentist.
Dr. Nadeau is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental association.
Dr. Nadeau enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, running, and trying to learn French in her spare time.
Dr. Tina Kokosis, Periodontist
Dr. Tina Kokosis began her dentistry training at the University of Western Ontario in London, where she graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery.
She received a Master of Science in Periodontics after spending three years at Columbia University in New York City, and training with some of Manhattan’s most accomplished Periodontists.
She also worked with many underprivileged individuals restoring oral comfort and function with effective treatment of their gum disease and the placement of dental implants.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Kokosis is a part-time clinical instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto.
She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and a registered Periodontist with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
A native Torontonian, she is currently the only periodontist fluent in the Greek language practising in the city.
